Gibbs, Tira L.: - Tira L. Gibbs was born and raised in Elkton, Maryland. She is the youngest of seven children, reared in the fear of the Lord by Bishop Harry N. Gibbs and 1st Lady MaryJane Gibbs. As a child, she attended Anointed Church of Jesus Christ, where her father was the Pastor and she was saved and baptized at the young age of 12. Tira is currently a member of Word Alive Worship Center, in New Castle Delaware, under the leadership of Pastor Anthony Bailey Sr. and Pastor Glenda Bailey. She currently serves the Lord as a Deaconess and a member of the choir in the music ministry within her church. As a child, Tira attended Thompson Estate Elementary, Elkton Junior High, and graduated from Elkton High School in Maryland. She worked as a preschool early care and education teacher for 15 years. She pursued my continued education at Dawn Training Center in Wilmington, Delaware, earning my Certification as a Dental Assistant. In the process of pursuing her career paths, the Lord blessed me with my two most beautiful gifts, my children, Aniyah and Javon. Once Tira's father passed away, she became her mother's direct caregiver for 14 years before her passing in June 2018. This journey opened the door of opportunity for Tira to be a Direct Caregiver for Easter Seals of Delaware as well. In addition, she earned my certification as a Medical Billing Specialist. She envisioned to become a successful children's author. Her desire is to provide stellar care for others, continually defeat the devil through the anointing of intercessory prayer, healing and deliverance, and bringing joy and peace in the lives of others.
