The past and the future are on a collision course. Xavier is an 18-year-old man just months away from graduating from high school and on the way to college. A chance discovery and a routine physical start him on the path to tragedy and discovery. Forced to fake his own death and run to another city over a hundred miles away, he is separated from friends and family after discovering he is the target of a kidnapping and murder conspiracy. Xavier's only clues include a single word written on a piece of paper and a mysterious tattoo on his shoulder that he doesn't remember ever getting. Xavier's Utopian view of the world is systematically destroyed by the reality of his circumstances as questions about his past continue to haunt him. Each day the image in the mirror changes as he moves closer and closer to uncovering the secret agenda of those who seek to control or destroy him, his friends, and his family. Determined to win at any cost, he struggles to survive and return home without losing the core part of who he is and what he believes. The continuous dialogue in his mind hounds him night and day.
