Butch Miles Salutes Chick Webb

The idea for this record came from the presentation at Michael's Pub in New York of a tribute to the legendary drummer Chick Webb. Eddie Bare field was in charge of the project, and wrote arrangements for a small group consisting of Eddie on tenor and Norris Turney on alto, both featured on this CD. Eddie was gracious enough to let drummer Butch Miles use the arrangements he had made, and with a sextet, recorded this session featuring Glenn Zottola, John Bunch and Milt Hinton.
