Math Mammoth Kindergarten Worktext A is the first student book (out of two) in the Math Mammoth Kindergarten curriculum. This worktext includes all the instruction, exercises, activities, and games; there is no separate teacher's manual.
The book is divided into four chapters. Each chapter has an introduction which contains notes for the teacher, a pacing guide, and a list of activities and games.
For extra review, the curriculum provides an access to a versational worksheet maker. The link to it is included several times in the book.
The topics covered in this book are: writing numbers and counting items (chapter 1), comparing, sorting, and decomposing numbers (chapter 2), addition, measurement, and word problems (chapter 3), and subtraction and word problems (chapter 4). The rest of the topics are in the Worktext B (shapes, position words, the counting sequence to 100, coins, and more addition & subtraction).
