Felty, Aubrey: - Aubrey Felty is an interdisciplinary arts educator and administrator based in Austin, Texas. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Education and a minor in Family and Human Development from Utah State University. Aubrey and illustrator, Kayla Felty, are sisters who are half Chamorro, on their mother's side, and half Korean, on their father's. Maria and the Giant Fish is their debut children's book, inspired by their maternal grandparents and in memory of their grandfather, Tomas. Aubrey is passionate about creating and expanding opportunities for young people to see themselves reflected in art.Felty, Kayla: - Kayla Felty is a sequential artist based in Texas, creating fantasy/horror illustrations and comics. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sequential Art and a minor in Drawing from Savannah College of Art and Design. Since then, her art has been featured in Science Fiction and Fantasy works such as Dungeons & Dragons: Ravenloft-Orphan of Agony Isle, Hellbent, NCT 127: Limitless, and Undying Corruption: A Korean 5e Adventure.
