The incredible bolero trio Los Camperos was the Cuban equivalent of the highly popular Trio Los Panchos. Like Trio Los Panchos, the three members of Los Camperos played guitar and sang with impeccable vocal harmony. These rare performances, recorded in Havana in the late 1950's, remain one of the finest examples of vocal music in Cuban music history. Los Campero's version of the Bobby Collazo classic "La Ultima Noche" included here, is one of the great masterpieces of rural Cuban music. All selections newly remastered.
