The Man Who Reclaimed His Head

In 1910s France, pacifistic but poor journalist Paul Verin (Claude Rains) wished to better support his loving wife Adele (Joan Bennett), and turned to ghost writing editorials for ambitious Paris publisher Henri Dumont (Lionel Atwill). Verin stopped going along as munitions makers swayed Dumont toward hawkishness-he'd pay a price as his foes connived his deployment to the WWI front lines-and he'd have special payback for Dumont on his homecoming.
