Discover the profound insights on gender identity and sexuality through a biblical lens in this compelling book. Delving into the Old Testament, the author critiques modern gender theories, tracing their evolution through feminist movements, existentialism, and social constructivism. By contrasting these with a biblical perspective rooted in the creation story, the book offers a thoughtful examination of today's complex gender discussions, including identity, expression, and orientation.
Explore historical and theological views from ancient Mesopotamian cultures, focusing on the worship of Inanna/Ishtar and the shifting gender roles and sexual norms of the time. The author defends a traditional biblical view, challenging modern secular ideologies and arguing for a consistent understanding of the body, sexuality, and gender.
This book also provides valuable guidance for church leaders and pastors on navigating these sensitive topics in today's world. Engage with a perspective that reconnects biological and theological truths, offering a robust critique of contemporary feminist and transgender movements.
