Magdalena's Demons - Paperback

For two thousand years, the relationship of Mary Magdalene and Jesus of Nazareth has remained a mystery. In Magdalena's Demons, author Pamella Bowen speculates that Mary (who insists on calling herself Magdalena) met, followed, learned from, and married the master teacher whom some called the messiah. How Magdalena's leadership among the early followers and the birth of her daughter affected Jesus' male disciples forms the plot of this adventure fantasy, traversing the ancient world from Galilee to Glastonbury during the divisive years of early Christianity. A cast of lovable characters and some magical elements convey themes of freedom, female empowerment, and letting go.
