Francesco Sedita is a writer and children's book publisher. Claudia Marianno is an illustrator from Indaiatuba, Brazil. She holds a BA in architecture and urbanism from the University of São Paulo. For many years, Claudia worked as a graphic designer in an education design studio, where she started illustrating for textbooks and magazines. She began illustrating full-time in 2017. Claudia has a passion for creating detailed, urban, and crowded scenes, often inspired by her fascination with Victorian England and the impressionist movements. In her free time, she watches crime TV shows and does art jigsaw puzzles. Having dyslexia meant she struggled with communication and vocabulary, so she started drawing to express herself without words. You can now find her working on her illustrations, surrounded by her adopted cats, in a town so small it doesn't have a single bookstore!
