Antonio Scurati (Nápoles, 1969) es profesor de Literatura Contemporánea en la IULM de Milán y estuvo al frente del Centro de Estudios sobre el Lenguaje de la Guerra y la Violencia de la Universidad de Bérgamo. También colabora en prensa y es autor de varios ensayos y novelas. Con M. El hijo del siglo (Alfaguara, 2020), una obra que ha marcado un antes y un después en la forma en que se narra el fascismo y que dio inicio a un ciclo literario que está siendo traducido en más de cuarenta países, Scurati ha alcanzado un éxito sin igual en Italia, donde recibió el Premio Strega 2019, y el reconocimiento como uno de los mejores escritores europeos de la actualidad.
