Lost to the World

A profoundly personal and curated new recording of duets by violinist Daniel Lozakovich, joined by pianist Hélène Mercier, inspired by his own reflections on childhood and the redemptive power of music. The album combines cornerstones of the Romantic repertoire (Vocalise, Après un rêve, Nocturne, La fille aux cheveux de lin) with rare incursions into chanson (La chanson d'Hélène, Autumn Leaves, Youkali).
