Arthur Sergeyevich Lourie was a Russian composer who later adapted the stage name Arthur Vincent in honor of Arthur Schopenhauer and Vincent van Gogh. This highly complex, exciting music, in the hands of a veritable master of the keyboard, Benedikt Koehlen, whose recording of the entire piano works of Karl Amadeus Hartmann on the Telos label has retained benchmark status.
