Daigle, Edward Oscar: - "Edward Oscar Daigle Jr. was born in Garyville, Louisiana on September 27, 1944, to Leah Schexnayder and Edward Oscar Daigle. He married Susan A. Ayers of Covington, Louisiana on August 3, 1963. Together they have four Children - two sons and two daughters with currently ten (10) grandchildren. Edward began his career working in the marine oil and gas industry and traveled worldwide as a welding and coatings inspector, and construction superintendent. In 1979, he became the chief executive for a company which employed in excess of 500 people. Over the years, Mr. Daigle has served as the chief executive for several companies, and from 1989 through 1998 he traveled extensively in Russia to begin development of a technology exchange company with the Russian Space Agency. Edward is the author of several patents and patent applications and has published papers on the subject of plasma metals processing, using hydrogen plasma. Honors received include: ● Governor's Council for a Better Louisiana ● Who's Who, Business & Industry Southwest USA ● Board Director, Iberia Parish Chamber of Commerce, ● Honorary Secretary of State, 1986 ● President of Louisiana Import/Export Assoc. ● 2004 Horace Pops Award, WAI for Technical Literature"
