Los Caminantes were one of the first small Cuban combos to emigrate to Miami following the Cuban embargo of 1959. Recorded in the early 1960's, "He Perdido Una Perla de Nazario Lopez" is Los Caminantes tribute to the great Cuban songwriter Nazario Lopez whose song, "He Perdido Una Perla," became an anthem to Cuban immigrants living in Miami following the embargo. The last line of the beautiful song translates as: "Let me return to Cuba because Cuba is the pearl I've lost at sea." All selections newly remastered.
