Elizabeth is a fierce advocate for issues relating to people with disabilities. In her advocacy work, she has met other survivors that have shared their stories with her and those stories helped shape the "Loose Limbs" characters. Elizabeth has a B.A. in Communications from IONA College and is a graduate of their CAP program.Roe, Alyse: - Alyse Roe is an illustrator, painter, and photographer. She is from the Hudson Valley of New York. She is a public school teacher, and has taught visual arts for the past ten years. She is excited to help her childhood friend Elizabeth Young bring the story of Loose Limbs to fruition and help spread hope to those experiencing the highs and lows of recovery.
