Brothers

Didier and Francis Lockwood have been fixtures of the French jazz scene for thirty years, but their Brothers album, originally recorded for the Ames label in 2008, featured them together for the first time. Francis Lockwood's piano and the violin of his brother Didier function together in perfect alchemy here, the only instruments present on the recording. The result is an intimate, delicate dive into a universe of their own design where their talents, complicity and connivance are shaped by the closeness of their relation as brothers.
