Life With Death is important reading for anyone coming to terms with their own mortality, cycle of life-related spirituality, and the loss of loved ones-which means, essentially, everyone.

Life with Death bears witness to a human element common to all of us-as we age, the cascading passing of loved ones, not so loved ones, and the icons that shaped and colored the world of each respective generation. The composing of Life With Death was an organic undertaking, precipitated by the death of the author's mother and father and his seemingly heartless reaction to their passing, while at the same time coming completely unglued as a result of the loss of a few dear friends and a pet. From the combination of those experiences the author was compelled to try to make sense of his mixed bag of feelings and emotions through writing his thoughts and feelings down-and the book spontaneously exploded from there.

We are all forced to face the inevitable reality of living with others' dying and our own death, and so this book is universal: Life with Death is a way for readers to learn that they are not alone; that their thoughts, worries, fears and curiosities are not dauntingly unique and, therefore; not insurmountable. Life with Death appeals to all adults, and, especially middle aged and baby boomer readers.
