KIM HARMS is a two-time breast cancer survivor with a BA in English from Iowa State University. She has more than twenty years of experience as a freelance writer and spends her weekday afternoons working in her local library. A lifelong Midwestern girl, she lives in Central Iowa with her husband, the youngest of their three sons, and a rambunctious dog who takes her on walks twice a day.
