In Life Lines, her second poetry collection, Beatrice J. Krauss writes with trademark wit and deep compassion. Many poems act as correspondence, letters to and from places, people, concepts, and her own various selves. Others act as travel guides, revealing our own world to us through fresh eyes and plucking the lines between us as deftly as harp strings.
