Talk about a folk-music ultra-rarity! This New Yorker moved to Canada and recorded two LPs in the mid-'70s; this one, released on Philip's own Gargoyle label, was issued in a run of 300 signed copies. It's a raw, intimate set of slapback guitar, lonesome piano and soul-baring lyrics, rescued from maximum obscurity and brought to CD and vinyl: "Unusual Day," "Touch," "The Magic Within You," "Time Is Passing," the title song and more.
