Coming out of the Art Tatum and Bud Powell school of be-bop piano playing, Lou Levy worked with many top jazz artists and gained a strong reputation as an accompanist to singers, including Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, June Christy, Anita O'Day and Frank Sinatra - and became a heavily in-demand player on the West Coast jazz scene. Presented here is Lou's classic 1978 album, Touch of Class, featuring Lou's interpretation of some very classy jazz standards including "Old Devil Moon," "My Old Flame" and "I've Never Been in Love Before." All selections newly remastered.
