These letters from the Catholicos of the Church of the East serve as both a response and encouragement to a bishop facing challenges within his ecclesiastical duties. The author emphasizes the importance of diligence and patience in resolving disputes, asserting that true merit in church leadership comes from effort rather than mere titles. Additionally, the letter discusses two monks seeking assistance, urging the bishop to welcome them and provide testimony for their legitimacy. It concludes with a message of hope and strength in the face of persecution, encouraging the bishop to continue building the church and relying on divine support.
