Boubacar Sangaré, dit Bokar, est doctorant en science politique à l'Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Ses recherches portent sur les notabilités, l'État au Mali. Il a notamment publié Être étu- diant au Mali. Chroniques d'une vie d'étudiant (La Sahélienne, 2016). En qualité de journaliste, il a travaillé pour Jeune Afrique, Le Monde, Bloomberg, Journal du Mali, Sahelien.com et comme chargé de recherche (2017-2020) à l'Institut d'études de sécurité (ISS). Entre 2015-2016, il a été Assistant au département d'études françaises et francophones de Bates College (Maine, Etats-Unis).

Boubacar Sangaré, known as Bokar, is a doctoral candidate in political science at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). His research focuses on prominent figures and the state in Mali. His most recent publications include "Being a Student in Mali: Chronicles of a Student's Life" (La Sahélienne, 2016). As a journalist, he has worked for Jeune Afrique, Le Monde, Bloomberg, Journal du Mali, Sahelien.com, and as a research fellow (2017-2020) at the Institute for Security Studies (ISS). Between 2015 and 2016, he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of French and Francophone Studies at Bates College (Maine, USA).
