Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes were one of the dynamic groups that came out of Gamble and Huff's Sound of Philadelphia and went on to become one of the most popular acts of the 1970s. Led by Sugarbear Aikens, "The Legendary Bluenotes" carry on this long-standing tradition of excellence. Working with famed Philly Soul producer Butch Ingram in the past few years, the group has released a handful of singles and a few critically acclaimed full-length albums including the excellent holiday album, "This Christmas," which was one of the most outstanding holiday releases of 2022.
