Ashford & Simpson's 1978 soul disco workout "Is It Still Good To Ya," receives an update as a duo from the immensely talented Jean Carne and Sugarbear from the Legendary Bluenotes. Tipping the hat to both Ashford & Simpson and Teddy Pendergrass, who also had a hit with the tune in 1980, producer Butch Ingram lends his Philly Soul vibe to the proceedings in grand style for this awesome remake, bringing a fresh sound to a tune that never grows old. Included with the new single is a bonus instrumental version, showcasing the magic of the Ingram Brothers, Gary Nelson and Charles Lundy.
