She coauthored Law and Religion: Cases and Materials with Andrew Seidel, now in its fifth edition, and Practicing Bioethics Law with Joan H. Krause. She has written numerous briefs, articles, and book chapters on the religion clauses of the First Amendment.Hamilton, Marci a.: - Marci A. Hamilton is Professor of Practice in the Department of Political Science and Fox Family Pavilion Non-resident Senior Fellow in the Program for Research on Religion at the University of Pennsylvania. She holds master's degrees in philosophy and English from Pennsylvania State University and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, where she served as editor-in-chief of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. She clerked for United States Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.
