Libby Larsen: Circle of Friends

Grammy Award winning composer Libby Larsen was the first woman to serve as a resident composer with a major orchestra (the Minnesota Orchestra), co-founded the Minnesota Composer's Forum and is one of the most performed and prolific composers of our time with over 500 works in her catalog, including 15 operas. Circle of Friends celebrates her musical connections with performances by longtim collaborators including Deborah Dunham, James Dunham, Jeanne Fischer, Norman Fischer, Curtis Macomber, Susanne Mentzer, and Craig Rutenberg. A collection of vocal works, trios, sonatas that confirms Larsen's essential place in classical repertoire.
