Sophie Goldberg nació en la Ciudad de México. Estudió Ciencias de la Comunicación con especialidad en periodismo en la Universidad de Texas, Austin. Ha colaborado para distintas revistas y ha ganado varios certámenes literarios. Entre sus publicaciones se encuentran el libro de poesía Vida y Pasiones y Sefarad de ayer, oy i manyana, compendio histórico sobre la presencia sefardí en México. Lunas de Estambul fue su primera novela y La piel de las azucenas la más reciente.
Sophie Goldberg was born in Mexico City. She studied Communication Sciences with a specialization in journalism at the University of Texas, Austin. She has contributed to various magazines and has won several literary competitions. Her publications include the poetry book Vida y Pasiones and Sefarad de ayer, oy i manyana, a historical compendium on the Sephardic presence in Mexico. Moons of Istanbul was her first novel and The Skin of Lilies is her latest.
