For over fifty years Willem Reeders' legend spread, detailing his Dutch-Chinese royal bloodlines, experience as a Japanese POW, work as a covert operative, role as a teacher of Bruce Lee, and more. Above all, people sought him out as a martial arts savant, fluent in open-hand techniques and weaponry. This book presents the historical setting of Reeders' life and discusses his combat theory and practice. The text moves beyond unverified myths by presenting recent research findings based on documents such as birth, passport and military records. The book includes original documents as well as photographs.
