Partitas for Wind

In addition to Handel, Haydn and Mendelssohn, Franz Vinzenz Krommer (1759-1831) is one of the anniversaries this year. For his debut recording on the ACCENT playing on period instruments Amphion Wind Ensemble has therefore adopted four of his Bläserpartiten. The special attraction of Krommer Bläserpartiten based on the immediacy of their musical language - particularly in the catchiness of the tunes - spontaneous expression more musical intuition and a instinctive musical sensations all around ends the balance of the compositions.
