This fifth volume of the Eisner Award-nominated horror series delivers a pivotal story arc where Philadelphia becomes the battleground for an epic war between Heaven and Hell. Collecting issues #25-30, this trade paperback serves as an accessible entry point for new readers while advancing the narrative in a bold new direction.
The Story
Vampire king George Washington, the first President of the United States, has successfully unified the warring vampire factions, creating an uneasy alliance that challenges traditional notions of good and evil. This fragile unity faces its greatest test when one of history's most formidable military leaders emerges to oppose them.
General Toussaint Louverture and his resurrected Haitian army have been brought back by the forces of light with a singular mission: exterminate all vampires. The resulting conflict promises casualties on both sides, with heroes falling and villains rising as the supernatural war escalates through the streets of Philadelphia.
