Khatm Nabuwwat: (The End of Prophethood, Quran Commentary) - Paperback

Every Muslim should have a complete understanding of his religion. The most important source of religious awareness and faith education of the people is the Holy Quran. Sermons, speeches, statements, reform books are all useful in their own place, but none of them can replace the Quran. In every era, the need and importance of a suitable and appropriate translation and commentary of the Quran has been felt and translators/commentators have paid special attention to fulfilling this duty.

Maulana Maudoodi was an Islamic scholar, laureate and writer in the previous century in the subcontinent. He was also the founder of Jamaat-e-Islami, a religious school of thought in the subcontinent. His commentary (Tafseer) of the Holy Quran, named as "Tafheem-ul-Quraan" in six volumes is very famous. The present book describes the falsehood of claims of prophethood (Nabuwwat) after the last prophet Muhammad, PBUH. It is the Tafseer of Surah Ahzaab (Chapter 33), and compiled by Aijaz Ubaid.

مولانا مودودی (رحمۃ اللہ) برصغیر میں بیسویں صدی کے ایک اسلامی سکالر اور مصنف کی حیثیت سے معروف و مقبول رہے ہیں۔ وہ جماعت اسلامی کے بانی بھی تھے جو برصغیر میں ایک مذہبی مکتب فکر کے بطور مشہور رہی ہے۔ ان کی تالیف کردہ قرآن مجید کی تفسیر جو "تفہیم القرآن" کے نام سے معروف ہے، چھ جلدوں میں دستیاب ہے۔ یہ کتاب جس میں آخری نبی محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے بعد نبوت کے دعوے کے جھوٹے ہونے کی تفصیل مذکور ہے، یہ دراصل "تفہیم القرآن"، میں شامل سورہ احزاب (باب 33) کی تفسیر کا ایک حصہ ہے، اور جسے اعجاز عبید نے مرتب کیا ہے۔
