The Author was born in Canton, Ohio March 2, 1935 He joined the Army in 1955, married the beautiful Dorothy Anne Parks in 1956 and they had two children. In 1963they acquired a fifty-seven acre three-hundred foot deep tree shrouded totally hidden valley near Paris Ohio. It sported an eight acre lake on the valley floor. They established Hidden Valley Lake Park providing rainbow trout fishing, swimming, picnicking, and eventually camping. After eleven years, they sold Hidden Valley when he was offered a partnership in an auto salvage operation in Stuart FL fifty miles North of Tampa. In retirement he became interested in glass etching by sand blasting. He has over fifty completed projects in the Brooksville, Florida area, many of them donated to St. Anthony Catholic Church. He also is an accomplished acrylic artist, his favorite subject being land and seascapes. His God given talents include woodworking, providing table bases for etched glass table tops, iron working, providing wrought iron table bases, and writing. He has established The Gallery of Arts & Antiques in a one hundred year old Southern Mansion in pulchritudinous historic down town Brooksville displaying the art work of over thirty local artists.
