The Dirty Sample's dusty, uptempo boom bap beats provide a fun backdrop for Kaboom Atomic's mostly serious subject matter that is delivered with a sense of humour in a frequently fast-paced flow. And though the title obviously refers to the two cents given by these two old gents, it also does double duty as a subtle critique of the little money paid to artists for Spotify plays.
