Stoker, Brandy: - I have been writing these stories for years but didn't feel they were good enough. I had a therapist suggest writing a story of healing for me after my divorce. That is where my book Blue Haven came from. I gave copies to friends and family, and they loved it so much that I decided to release them to more. Those people have been loving it also. That encouraged me to release my fantasy romances. I have 20 stories in some form of writing and ouline. Escape from Media was released in April and my book 2 will come out in September.I grew up reading romance novels and fantasy stories in my youth but fell in love with a good romance. My 27-year failed marriage made me question if romance was even possible. Then, I started therapy. My therapist thinks that toxic relationships in romance novels growing up may have contributed to my getting into a toxic relationship with a covert narcissist. My goal is to write stories with healthy relationships and with relatable real feeling characters. I studied psychology intensely and the various psychological tests to help mold and develop my characters. I also am borderline Aspergers with ADHD, so I am very strategic. It kills me when I can figure out the direction a story is going, so I like to write stories that don't go as expected or don't follow specific plot diagrams to keep the reader guessing. I studied the writing styles of several mystery and action adventure writers to come up with my own style.
