I don't think that geographical divides are anymore relevant to the corporate world. Where ever one lives or works, the challenges are similar, if not the same. This book is based on my experiences in the corporate world where management theory meets every day organizational realities. While we read about the two separately, it can be sometimes difficult to actually see how they actually interact to produce real life results. What I've tried to do is to provide that connect in this space where most of us live and work. It is an enlightening journey, not always as per one's expectations. It is a journey that requires patience and a number of other virtues as you watch someone incompetent (at least as per your perceptions) pass you by to the next coveted position. It is about the frustrations one feels due to organizational inefficiencies and then how one has to cope with it.
