Kaleidoscope

Sean Jones is renowned as a leader, educator, composer and lead trumpet with the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, but with his fourth Mack Avenue release KALEIDOSCOPE, Jones spotlights vocals for the first time. Special guests include world-renowned gospel vocalist, Kim Burrell, label mate Sachal Vasandani, and rising star vocalists Gretchen Parlato, Carolyn Perteete and JD Walter. KALEIDOSCOPE also features Jones' newly expanded touring band: Orrin Evans (Piano), Brian Hogans (alto sax, flute, fender rhodes), Obed Calvaire (drums, percussion), Luques Curtis (acoustic bass) and Walter Smith III (tenor sax).
