Learn how the Poles Fenced Sabre!
For many years, historical fencers have struggled to understand Polish sabre fencing but have been hampered by the fact that manuals were scarce or apocryphal. Now, for the first time, Ivanowski's "New Cavalry Fencing System" is published in translation with extensive Translator's Commentary, contextualizing both the manual and the author. A must-have for historical fencing scholars and anyone interested in East-Central European fencing traditions.
