Washed-up and washed-out tennis player Tom (Sam Riley) led a desultory and dissolute existence as house pro for a pricey Fuerteventura resort. His ennui would fade, though, as attractive guest Anne (Stacy Martin) sought instruction for her young son. Tom had less use, however, for her spouse Dave (Jack Farthing)... and after Dave couldn't be found after the two spent the night partying, Tom might not be able to return the investigative volleys.
