The Island of Dr. Moreau

In this creepy updating of the classic H.G. Wells story, Marlon Brando plays the not-so-good doctor, whose experiments with genetics on a Pacific island have resulted in horrific half-human, half-animal creations. A shipwreck survivor (David Thewlis) gets an unsettling indoctrination into the work of Moreau and equally demented colleague Montgomery (Val Kilmer).
