He never considered writing children's books until his son was born. Suddenly, most of what he was reading was for his age group, so he naturally started thinking about books he could buy for him. Matias tried to find bilingual books (in Spanish and English), but not many were available.He decided to fill the gap and create simple stories with deep values. Something that parents could read in a few minutes and kids could enjoy and understand. Now he is in this boat, guided by his inner child and looking forward to seeing where he's taken. Matias hopes that through his books, multicultural families can entertain and teach their children without choosing one language over another. He wishes them to embrace the uniqueness of their blended worlds and cultures.
