Fifteen year-old Marie and six year-old Sean are neighbors, but when Sean dies in Marie's care, she becomes haunted by a strange presence. It follows her everywhere she goes and won't leave her alone. It wants something from her. Is it the spirit of Sean? Or is it something else from her eerie past?
