Imploded View is a moniker under which one Jerome McCormick creates atmospheric and ethereal down tempo electronic music. Realising that imperfections often enhance character, he currently utilizes various old pieces of hardware, including but not limited to old reel-to-reels, cassettes, and old synthesizers, to achieve his rhythmic, textured and evocative soundscapes. On his debut album the producer showcases a collection of lush Ambient/Down tempo tracks alongside more beat driven pieces that fans of Boards of Canada & Ulrich Schnauss will thoroughly enjoy.
