She understands the complexities associated with intimate partner violence and the unique support needed to help women affected by abusive relationships. As a respected speaker, Dr. Char provides domestic violence training and education to secular and faith-based organizations. She also serves as the voice of victims on local panels and committees. Dr. Char has earned a dual doctorate and continues to provide advocacy services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
