In the first novel "If Only In My Dreams" Roxanne didn't think there wold be a life for her and Andrew after being raped, and impregnated with her mother's lovers' child. But in the sequel "If Only It Were A Dream" Andrew was more than willing to take on the responsibilities of being a husband to Roxanne, and a father to a child that he knew wasn't his own.
