I Never Saw Colour Again

I Never Saw Colour Again brings to life the story of an ill-fated romance between a Tail Gunner - Sergeant Jim Keenan - serving on a British Lancaster in England during WWII and his fianc - Elaine Ellis - who he left behind in Canada. Although totally devoted to one another, he was swept up in the war effort while she waited at home for his frequent letters of love and dreams of their future together. Unfortunately, he never returned, and in her grief, Elaine gave up painting, for as she explained almost sixty years later: "After the war, I never saw colour again."
