I Just Wanna Be Closer - Paperback

I once heard a preacher ask, "Is your Christian life what others are waiting for?" This question made me step back and evaluate my life. Was I living the average "one hour a week" Christian life, or was I genuinely living on fire for my Lord and passionately pursuing Him? Was I just going through the motions of Christianity just to check it off of my religious "checklist", or was I dwelling in my Savior's precious presence and letting Him transform me to look more like Him? I believe this Christian walk is more than just a checklist. I believe God has called us Christians to live an above average, on fire, Spirit-filled life full of the presence of God. Yet, many today are living exactly the opposite of this. Why? Because we have lost the desire. A desire to see the presence of God. A desire to sit at our Savior's feet. A desire to watch Him move mightily in our lives.

Through this book, this is my prayer: As we surrender to our Savior may we begin to realize His presence is enough. As we live daily in His presence, may we begin to want more. And as we want more, may we begin to realize Jesus has called US to so much more. Through drawing closer, may we want to draw closer and closer. And eventually may we daily say, "I just want to be closer."
