Magnificat

Mirko Guadagnini writes: "The present release is a tribute to Alessandro Scarlatti, excellent exponent of the Italian Baroque, thanks to a new rendition of his Magnificat a 5, with solos alternating with chorus. Alongside this masterpiece, the intense Salve Regina and a tribute to his son Domenico with his Te Deum. Throughout Howell's Requiem we then wanted to put a seal on the pairing between Renaissance music and XXth century polyphony, thus underlining the always inspiring and fascinating dialogue between ancient and modern."
