Peter A. Redpath, Ph.D., is retired Full Professor of Philosophy at St. John's University, New York, and author/editor/co-editor of seventeen philosophical books and many dozens of articles and book reviews. An internationally recognized scholar, he has given over 200 invited guest lectures nationally and internationally. Former vice president of the American Maritain Association, Dr. Redpath is, also, former executive editor of the Value Inquiry Book Series (VIBS) for Editions Rodopi, B.V., former History of Philosophy and Etienne Gilson special series editor for Rodopi; and is currently a member of the editorial board of Brill's Philosophy and Religion (PAR) series.
